Lewis snubbed us again this week. I’m starting to take it personally. You still get Kev, Kris and myself though, so it’s not all bad. Lack of Lewis (and our general half-assedness) means no quiz and news was a bit thin on the ground but we did have a great question at the end from a helpful listener.
We discussed the trailer for Star Wars The Force Awakens at some length, as you can imagine. General consensus was that it was brilliant and if you listen carefully you might notice the moment when I realise that Disney is about to become even more super rich and powerful in the movie business.
I talk a bit about The Crew and how it’s a little bit disappointing for no specific reason. Kev discussed The Flash, as well as touching on its related show, Arrow. Finally, Kris seized the opportunity to say more complimentary things about Lumina City, which you’ll understand if you’ve read his review.

Fun fact: I knew the railer is out, but I did just watch it while listening to this podcast episode. Seems weird. Why did I not watch it earlier? Ow, I think I remember: because I’m totally disappointed with the last two Star Wars movies made. Of course, the old ones (IV, V and VI) are fantastic and epic, The Phantom Menace is great, it gave hope for parts II and III…..but 2 and 3 are rubbish. I hate them.
Don’t have to tell me about the 20th anniversary PS4. I want it so bad. When the PS4 was coming out that is exactly what I wanted from SONY to do. I imagined the PS4 default version just like that. It’s fantastic. As a PS fan-boy I’m in love.
In terms of the PS4 theme: everything is brilliant, but the default PS4 sounds mess it up a bit.
Hmm, I watched the PS Experience thing, but was there anything BIG announced? Don’t tell me it’s the FF VII PC version release for PS4?
What I did find cool in The Crew is the car auto-regen xD Looked bonkers. Peter and Teflon had a chat about it at the stream. Still, I think Driveclub, especially now with the weather (AMAZING STUFF!) is better choice, but then again, with Driveclub there is the PS+ edition lie…
I do love the way Japanese games end: the boss always has a few stages of transformation or equipment to wear :D The MGS bosses are something clearly something to remember. Remember Snake Eater? The flying guy, with a flamethrower? Awesome. And the final Solid Snake VS Ocelot Liquid ? Epic. Yes. Kojima nails it. Every time. Of course the JRPG’s have the most touching and beautiful endings.
Owww, I so want to play games like DMC, MGS:Rising, Dante’s Inferno. I miss that.
Entertaining podcast guys. Well done. Keep it up.
