The Evil Within’s Season Pass Starts With The Assignment In Early 2015

It’s been a good year for fans of the horror genre, with indies and big publishers all getting in on the act. Shinji Mikami’s return to the genre was quite highly anticipated with The Evil Within, which though buggy reviewed generally quite well, but its story isn’t over thanks to its season pass and upcoming DLC.

The first two DLC packs from the trio that make up the season pass will focus on Detective Castellanos’ partner, Juli Kidman, starting with The Assignment early next year, and following up with The Consequence. The Keeper will then be the third and final piece.

With a small interview on Bethesda’s blog, the DLC’s Director, John Johanas, revealed a few further nuggets of information. For example, this will be very much story driven horror, rather than too much action, and her perspective could also shine a light on some of the more open-ended parts of the main game’s story, though I’m sure Tango Gameworks will be careful to leave plenty of secrets and ambiguity.

  1. Really didnt get on with this and traded it, not scary in the slightest, bad difficulty spikes. I also found the framerate to be piss poor and the aiming inconsistent, pretty major factors in a game where resources are limited and you have to make every bullet count
