Vince McMahon as announced that WWE Network will be launching this month, January 19th to be exact. You can be forgiven for not having full faith in the announcement, considering last time the service was supposed to launch in the UK it was cancelled with less than an hour to go. This time it really will be a case of seeing is believing. The WWE Network app will allow you to view the complete WWE archive, as well as watch live pay-per-view events like the Royal Rumble.
The app itself will be available on PS3, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC, mobile, tablets and Smart TVs. Price wise the service will be £9.99 in the UK and €12.99 in Ireland. However it is cheaper in the US at $9.99, and it isn’t really clear why UK and Irish audiences are getting charged more. There also doesn’t seem to be any sort of promotional bonus, which may have made up for the last minute delay.
