Jurassic World And Marvel’s Avengers LEGO Games Are Coming Out This Year

Not a moment goes by where there isn’t a LEGO game in development, it seems, as the busy bees at TT Games continue to mine for digital bricks with which to create more games in more varied settings. So it is that Warner Bros. have announced two new games which will feature week in and week out in the UK and global video game charts: LEGO Jurassic World and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers.

As you might expect, Jurassic World will be arriving on every games console you can think of in June – so PS4, PS3, XBO, X360, Wii U, PS Vita, 3DS and PC – to coincide with the release of the new film, but will actually feature the stories of the first three Jurassic Park films as well as that of the new one.

Without a film to come out alongside, but nonetheless based on some of the characters and stories from Avengers Assemble and Avengers: Age of Ultron, Marvel’s Avengers will bring another dose of Marvel super hero-based action in the autumn, with an identical console roster.

That’s not all for LEGO this year though, with Tom Stone, Managing Director of TT Games, saying, “This year will be the biggest yet for LEGO videogames,” in the press release. LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin will be hitting the 3DS and PS Vita on March, while The LEGO Movie Video Game has already landed on the iOS app store and LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham will both be coming along this spring.

Right, I’ve just about have enough of writing ‘LEGO’, so I’m off to sit in a dark room and think about competing children’s construction toys.

  1. Lego JP! WOO!

    • My lad is so gonna love lego dinosaurs.

      And so am I :)

    • Can’t be worse than the film is surely going to be.

Now how about LEGO Transformers Dinobots?

      • Cant be any worse than the third one. Even though I do still like it. Its Dinosaurs for crying out loud. Put dinosaurs in Coronation street and I’d even watch that.

      • 3rd yin was dire & the new one “World” looks like it may be worse. Fingers crossed it isn’t however I couldn’t help laughing at the giant croc in the trailer!

  2. Lego Jurassic Park was a ‘rumour’ at Brick 2014. Should be great! Lego Simpsons would be the one though….

    • i’d love a Lego Simpsons game.
gotta be better than the EA Simpsons game.

now Lego have the license, and after that Lego episode they did, i’d be surprised if a Lego Simpsons game isn’t at least being planned.

  3. the Lego Marvel superheroes game was awesome, so i’m happy to hear a sequel is coming.

it’ll be cool to see more of the MCU content in the game too.

some Guardians levels especially, including the music.

how many Lego games will feature Chris Pratt now?

these two and the Lego movie game.

and who knows, if the Indy reboot rumour pans out, there could be another Lego game featuring Pratt, this time as Indiana Jones.

and then there’s the Lego movie sequel, which will inevitably get a game.

mind you, i’m totally cool with that. ^_^

  4. Lego Marvel Superheroes was pretty much basically LEGO Marvel Avengers (can’t remember right now, but I have a feeling it was set in the aftermath of the Avengers movie), so it will be interesting to see where they go with it.
