(Updated) This Month’s PlayStation Plus Update Includes Oddworld, OlliOlli 2 And Valiant Hearts

Update: The full PS Plus update for March has finally been confirmed by Sony. For this month you can expect the following.

PS4 – Oddworld New ‘n’ Tasty & Valiant Hearts: The Great War.

PS3 – Papa & Yo, and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes & Punishments.

PS Vita: OlliOlli 2 & CounterSpy (Cross-buy with PS3/PS4).

These games are now live to grab in North America, with Europe being able to grab the content tomorrow when the store updates.

Sony are remaining, for whatever reason, very tight-lipped with this month’s European PlayStation Plus update, right up until the eleventh hour as the content should be going live tomorrow as it’s the first Wednesday of the month.

Thanks to the beauty of advertising, this background image below has appeared on a few sites – including TSA, briefly – and has leaked a couple of the games heading to the service.

That’s right, Oddworld New’n’Tasty and Valiant Hearts will be available for free for PS+ subscribers starting tomorrow. We’ll let you know when we find out the other titles.

  2. Yes! I knew there was a reason I didn’t buy Oddworld… Sorry, Just Add Water…

    Saying that, I still haven’t played through the last 10 months ‘plus’ games because there are just too many, but i’m excited all the same :D

  3. I’m so happy with those games for this month.
    I have only bought Valiant Hearts on PC. I’m particularly looking forward to Oddworld.

    • Yeah, that is good value for money, but I have found that has done nothing but grow my backlog.

      Still have games from last autumn I haven’t even booted yet. :/

  7. Didn’t get on with Oddworld on PSOne, so don’t imagine it’ll be any different now. Not really bothered by that & probably won’t bother downloading tbh.

    I am however mildly pleased with OlliOlli 2, Counterspy & I guess I may give that Valiant Hearts a go too. Well, I’ll get it downloaded for it to sit & gather dust on my HDD at least. :)

    • Valiant Hearts is a great game, as is Counterspy. Oddworld has enough subtle differences from the original to improve upon it and I would suggest you give it a go. Not too vexed about OlliOlli2 though.

      • The problem I had/have with Oddworld is that I am not a massive fan of stealth in games. Especially when that’s the main focus.

        Unfortunately, that aspect I don’t expect to have changed at all. ;)

  8. Was looking at getting CounterSpy when it came up cheap, this is even better :)
