JRPG Omega Quintet Out On PS4 April 29th In Europe

A new JRPG is heading to PS4 next month in the West, and that is Omega Quintet. Basically the game has you controlling a girl group who must save the world from something called The Blare. This force brings with it giant mutant rats, bats, and other monstrous creatures which the girls must fight to save the world as they’re the only hope. This makes a part of me wonder where the global military forces have disappeared to.

On top of levelling up and fighting in various battles players will also be able to edit whole music routines, and this is thanks to the PVS mode. Here dance sets are choreographed, outfits, are chosen, solos are handed out, and camera angles adjusted. The PS4 camera also has some use as you’ll be able to place yourself in shows and create other moves. You can then share your creation with everyone else if you really want to.

Omega Quintet launches on PS4 in Europe April 29th, while North America receives the game April 28th.

  1. so….let me get this straight. humanity is under attack and our only hope lies with a quintet of under-aged singing girls??? we are all going to die. its typical Japanese though so I don’t know why I am surprised.
