Double Fine have confirmed that the concluding chapter of Broken Age will be coming to PC on 28th April in the US with the European release coming a day later on the 29th April.
If you purchased Act 1, the second act will be available to you as a free download from the release date. A complete edition of the game will be available as a cross-buy title for PS4 and Vita on the same day as the PC release.
After this date, the PC version of the game will no longer be available to purchase as separate episodes but available only in its entirety. No price point has been revealed yet for the full package on PC or PS platforms in Europe. However, the complete edition will set you back $24.99 in the US.
We liked Broken Age Act 1, with Stefan giving it 8/10. However, he noted the incompleteness of the game saying “The main issue is that this is just the first half of a full game, with what feels like the pacing and difficulty curve to match. Point-and-click fans will delight in Schafer’s return to the genre, with the talented team at Double Fine, but face what could be a long wait until they can get the second act.”
