Ubisoft has announced the Assassin’s Creed Chronicles trilogy, which includes the already confirmed Assassins Creed Chronicles: China. That was supposed to be part of the Assassin’s Creed Unity season pass, but after that was pulled by Ubisoft the fate of the game became unclear. Now we know this title will be released on April 22nd for PS4 & Xbox One.
After the release of China two more Chronicles games will release, including one set in India within the Sikh Empire, and one set in Russia after the events of Red October. China will star Shao Jun from the Embers movie, while India and Russia star characters from the graphic novels. These are Arbaaz Mir and Nikolaï Orelov respectively. The games themselves will be 2.5D platforming titles rather than full, open world offerings.

Cue people saying they are bored of Assassin’s Creed now, even though these games are clearly very different to any other games in the series.
JR.
I actually got excited for a minute there thinking we were getting a real (mini) AC game set in China. The one place I’ve been dying for them to visit (for like forever) and then they turn it into some 2.5D mobile phone looking game. Excuse me while I go and cry into a cussion :'(

No chance if this hitting Vita… Kinda has that Blackgate feel…

Feeling we’re going to see more of these from Ubisoft – last year’s EGX build of Far Cry 4 curiously displayed “Far Cry Chronicles” on the dash if you pressed the PS Button mid-demo.
Would rather see this sort of thing than annual cut/paste franchise updates.
