It was announced that Mewtwo would be coming to Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS in spring, and that it would be free for those who had purchased both versions of the game (and registered on Club Nintendo).
Well, Nintendo have made good on that promise and those who have registered their games will be able to download Mewtwo from April 15th, and if you haven’t done that then you’ll have to shell out £3.59 for the character on one console or £4.49 to get him on both.
There will also be a software update coming, which will allow you to share your screenshots, replays, custom stages and more, while there will also be an update to adjust game balance – hopefully Little Mac will be toned down somewhat.
They also announced future DLC, including returning character Lucas, who will be available in June, as well as many more costumes for Mii Fighters which will include Megaman and Zelda themes.
Furthermore, for DLC down the line, they’re opening a Smash Bros. Fighter Ballot where you can put your suggestions in. They’re saying all suggestions will be considered, but not all will be possible.

This ballot. It changes everything.
I own both versions of the game digitally, but there’s no Club Nintendo in my country. Hopefully it’ll be able to recognise my purchases, but I doubt it.
