Years ago I played Conker’s Bad Fur Day and so began a love for the foul mouthed squirrel, as well as the supporting characters. The world Conker inhabited was very bizarre from teddy bears that were going to war and a giant, singing poo. I don’t think there was much expectation of a new Conker game, but Team Dakota confirmed the existence of Conker’s Big Reunion. The experience itself will be playable within Microsoft’s Project Spark, and will release in an episodic format.
The events of Big Reunion are set ten years after Bad Fur Day, with Conker on a quest to find his friends that originally helped him. The trailer shows a bit of gameplay as well as the scarecrow that provided advice to Conker in the original game. There’s parts which show combat where Conker fights the warmongering teddies, as well as his ability to use his tail to fly.
The first episode of Conker’s Big Reunion will be availiable to download from April 23rd in Project Spark for Xbox One, and Windows 8.1.
