Rocket League Now Releasing This Summer, Sign Up For The Closed Beta

Rocket League, the sequel to Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars, has hit the “feature complete” milestone, which means that all the features intended for the final version of the game are completed.

However, the final polish and test will take a little longer so the release date has moved from Spring to Summer 2015.

The good news is that a closed beta is now running and you can sign up for a chance to help stress test the servers and get your mucky paws on the game before anyone else. To take part is head to RocketLeagueGame.com/PS4Beta-PSBlog and fill out the form shown on the page. You will need a valid email address and a PSN ID.

“Because this test is specifically for matchmaking and server functionality, most final-game features are disabled,” say Psyonix.

The beta test is for Europe only at the moment, beta keys for the North American test will be revealed on the US PS Blog at a later date.
