Lost Dimension Coming To PS3 & Vita This Summer

Upcoming tactical RPG, Lost Dimension, will be making its way overseas later this summer publisher NIS America has confirmed. The game is currently slated to launch on July 28th in the United States with a European release likely to follow soon after.

Lost Dimension is the latest game from Japanese developer Lancarse (Shin Megami Tensei, Etrian Odyssey). It’s a tactical sci-fi RPG, allowing characters to move around open 3D spaces during combat, unleashing a wide array of psychic abilities.

What we find most intriguing about Lost Dimension is its so-called “traitor system”. Although players will go up against waves of conventional enemies, they will also need to deal with a betrayer within their own ranks.

Upon reaching the end of a level, you’ll need to take a vote before eliminating one of your party members. It’s a cool dynamic made even more interesting thanks to its random selection process, meaning two players are unlikely to have identical playthroughs.

  1. Looking pretty good so far – the traitor system is very interesting, and it seems to play like Valkyria Chronicles/Codename S.T.E.A.M.!

  2. Looking forward to this. The idea of getting the traitor wrong, and being punished for it in the end fight is an interesting idea.

Hopefully another great game to add to my ridiculous backlog of vita games.

  3. Not gonna say no to an interesting Vita game.
