Codemasters has just release the world renowned Pike Peak hill climb course as a free update on Steam Early Access.
The track is notorious for featuring treacherous twists and turns, where one mistake will mean taking the shortest route back down the hill in a mangled car. The pack will challenge players as they race against the clock to the summit of the Rocky Mountains, either choosing to test their skills on full asphalt, or a version of the track which features a more challenging mix of asphalt and gravel.
The new pack also adds three iconic hill climb cars to the game:
- Peugeot 405 T16 PP
- Audi Sport Quattro S1 PP
- Peugeot 205 T16 PP
The Pikes Peak pack is the first in a series of free updates being added to Dirt Rally during its Steam Early Access phase, and you can read our impressions from the game’s initial release here.

Aww, just got hit with the chunky download and realised that Pikes Peak is finally here. Looking forward to it a lot, and it’ll be interesting to try the Quattro S1 as that’s a great drive in GT6. There was quite a few other amendments too, including improved AI and some more race liveries for the classic cars.

Also in one of Codies Dirt games, it was fun.
Will be interesting to see if the times are comparable to the real ones and, if so, how close you can get to Seb Loeb’s record or beat it.
