LittleBigPlanet 3 is set to get bigger as a new expansion, called The Journey Home, has been announced for the game and it will be releasing in July. The new story missions will take place after the events of LBP3’s campaign, as Sackboy, Swoop, Toggle, & Oddsock find themselves in a place they didn’t expect to be. Their aim is to find a way back across levels that will feature characters from the first two LittleBigPlanet games.
There’s no price for The Journey Home yet, but Sumo Digital has announced some free DLC in the form of costumes that is available this week. The costumes are inspired by Tarsier Studios and Sumo Digital, as well The Station.
We may see some of The Journey Home in action during E3 week, along with a more concrete release date and price point.
