Faith is back starting next year with Mirror’s Edge: Catalyst, which was just announced to launch on February 23rd, 2016.
EA spent a decent amount of time on it during E3, talking about Faith’s new story and the odds she’s up against. She lives in a world ruled by corporations and it’s up to her to open the eyes of the entire city. The developers say that Faith is all about quickness, agility and martial arts, and that she “doesn’t need guns.” It’s running on the latest version of the Frostbite engine and comes packed with races, time trials and collectibles.
And the best part? It’s an open world game. The E3 trailer only shows a few snippets of gameplay but it’s all running on the in-game engine.

Time trials…!!! :o)
Seems very true to the original, which I like a lot.
Some remarks got me worried fights will be more important.
But it definitely looks VERY promising.!!!

Can you imagine a world without governments, only corporations?! Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuck ooooooooooooooff!!!

Of course, I can. Do you think the Google version of singularity is really that far off? ;o)

At least the corperation would get stuff done instead of ignoring the north because they want to keep all the cash in the south.

gonna have to give this a pass if it’s only first person.
firstly, i don’t really like the first person platforming/parkour thing, that rolling is disorienting and when hanging from a ledge you just get a face full of wall.
secondly, i couldn’t play the original for more than a few minutes without feeling pretty sick.
i’ve had the motion sickness thing in a few games, but it was by far the worst in ME1.
should be good for those who like the first person parkour.
and can stomach it. ^_^
