At Square Enix’s conference Avalanche Studios has announced that Just Cause 3 will be releasing on December 1st, allowing you to access an area of 400 square miles on land, sea, and air. Rico has returned to his mother’s homeland, Medechi, to stop a power hungry dictator, General Di Ravello, who is eyeing world domination. You’ll be able to use both one and two handed weapons while parachuting into an area, create wrecking balls to destroy lots of things. There are over 80 vehicles within Just Cause 3 including planes, cars, boats, and tractors.
There are lots of side quests and mini games including destruction based score attack tasks & races. It all looks pretty crazy to be sure, but that is to be expected in any Just Cause game.

Please stop! I can’t take no more games coming later this year! Too many… I have at least 10 big titles from September till end of year that I would like, impossible for me to play them all. Not to mention indies/digital, plus games and a backlog.
Obviously it’s a pretty good problem to have. :) Does everyone feel the same?

Not too bad for me, 2 definate must have day -1 and some that’ll wait in the queue whilst completing former said goodness.
Piggy Bank explosion nevertheless!

It’s weird but up until now Just Cause as a franchise has not been on my radar, but now I’ve discovered it, it looks like a even better substitute for the Mercenaries series and I’m looking forward to grabbing Just Cause 3 when it comes out!

shame there won’t be any co-op, but it looks like mad fun.
2 was great to just run around causing chaos in, and with more destructible environments this looks even more mad, possibly even more fun.
what am i saying?
with those new grapples, it absolutely will be. ^_^

JC2 was one of those games that I still went back to years after release when I just wanted to mess about for a bit and kill some time. Really fun game. Hope JC3 delivers.
I’m starting to understand why Uncharted 4 was pushed back. So many great games coming out before Christmas. Why share the market during the busiest quarter of the year when you can have it all to yourself a few months later.

Wow! That trailer had me grinning like a loon ;)
