Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5 was a bit of a surprise announcement quite a few months back, and when the first images hit there was some concern because they didn’t show a game that looked like it was releasing on the latest generation of consoles. Of course those were early images, bound to be a bit rough for a game early in development. Well now Activision has shown off a little bit of gameplay, and it has all the fittings of a Tony Hawk’s game. It doesn’t quite look ready for release just yet.
There was news that the multiplayer will allow up to 20 players share the same world, though this feature will be skipping PS3 & Xbox 360, which has yet to be explained. There is no release date yet.

Still looks terrible I think. I definitely loved the more realistic approach of Skate so will be skipping this one.

This is one game where I actually wouldn’t care even if it was pixelated graphics – As long as they get those solid tony hawks mechanics right (from earlier games in the series), it’ll still be ridiculously fun.
