Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls may be just as awkwardly named as its predecessors yet developer Spike Chunsoft has shaken things up in a major way. First off, instead of being a direct sequel to last year’s Goodbye Despair, Another Episode takes place between the two original games.
More importantly, Ultra Despair Girls ditches the dialogue-heavy visual novel formula the series has been known for. Instead, players will explore areas in full 3D, navigating sections of an overrun city while shooting down and evading an army of robotic teddy bears.
It’s all kinds of crazy but then again who’d expect anything less from a Danganronpa game? Ultra Despair Girls launches on September 4th in Europe exclusively on PlayStation Vita.

I’m really looking forward to this game, love the series to bits after the thrill of the first two games. This game is just a spin off of the series but tells the gap in the story between the previous ones. The next proper Danganronpa will be in the same style as the previous two games and take place after the end of the second game.
