It’s safe to say that there’s simply nothing like Hatoful Boyfriend. Certainly, the gameplay will be familiar to those who have played visual novels before, and in particular the dating sub-genre, but Hatoful Boyfriend is unique in its premise of sending a girl to a special school for gifted birds and following her as she tries to make friends and find love.
It caused quite a flap and set hears aflutter its offbeat story telling when it released on PC last year, and now that same game is coming to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita on July 21st, and as a cross-buy game no less. Except that this version of the game will have just that little bit more story to tell, with the new romance option of Tohri – a character that was set to feature in the recently announced Holiday Star sequel – with a fresh storyline to follow, a new ending and plenty more.
Speaking of the sequel, Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star is also set for release on PS4 and PS Vita, with a launch pencilled in for later this year.

Have this on PC so with the knowledge that the sequel is coming to PS4, I will wait for that me thinks.
