Resident Evil Revelations 2 Is Coming To PS Vita On 18th August

Resident Evil Revelations 2 originally dabbled with a high-pace episodic release on home console and PC back in March, with the four episodes coming out just one week apart. The PlayStation Vita might have been left out of the fun at that point, but the whole gameis not set to grace the handheld on 18th August.

Coming by way of Sony Third Party Productions team and Frima Studio, this is really the full package. The two bonus episodes – The Struggle and Little Miss – are included alongside the main four, and there’s also the inclusion of the co-operative Raid Mode over PSN. You’ll have to wait a little while longer to raid on the train though, as ad hoc play will be added in a patch at a later date.

  1. Any word as to whether this is a physical release, or will it be digital only?

    • It looks like it’s digital only.

      • Thanks, was hoping for a physical release though.

Not much gameplay shown, and what was looked a bit ropey. May have to check out some more footage.

  2. I’m very tempted by this but I hope it’s not as pricey as the $40 price in the US suggests (around £30 here).
I tried the Raid mode in episode 1 on PS4 and I think that’s where I’d spend most of my time.
It would be good to see some gameplay footage as I’m not getting it if it’s another Borderlands fiasco.
Hopefully Digital Foundry will have a look at it post release.
