Not exactly the smoothest of launches, the Street Fighter V beta has been having issues with online connectivity since it went live last night. Under the crush of beta users, many were unable to log into Capcom’s servers and play, eventually forcing Capcom to take the servers down to try and fix whatever issues ail them.
The latest projection is that servers will be back up and running at 11AM in the UK:
I deeply apologize for causing you so much trouble this time.We need a little more time for fixing problem until 7pm(JPT)/3am(PDT)/11am(GMT)

Of course, that’s the point of these beta tests, to help publishers get to grips with the server requirements that a popular game such as this can demand, so while it’s disappointing, it’s a little understandable for this to happen now and not at launch. You’ll be online and beating each other up soon enough.
