The entire LEGO-verse is in danger, as a dastardly plot looks set to collapse all of the disparate worlds in on themselves, and a band of heroes from across the many dimensions must band together to stop it. That’s a nice enough reason to have a LEGO-based adventure, but let’s face it, we all knew that Batman was going to steal the show… both of them.
Though this trailer really focussed on Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle, with a few brief appearances from other popular characters that have been immortalised in brick, LEGO Dimensions is set to draw on practically every LEGO toy series, when it launches on September 29th this year. That means there’s DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings, The LEGO Movie, The Wizard of Oz, LEGO Ninjago, Back to the Future, Scooby-Doo, LEGO Chima, Doctor Who, Jurassic World, Ghostbusters, The Simpsons, Portal and Midway Arcade all under one roof.
