Just days after releasing a fascinating new expansion to The Talos Principle on PC, Devolver Digital have announced today that the game, bundled along with the Road to Gehenna DLC in a Deluxe Edition, will be making its way to PlayStation 4 on October 13th. This will be both digitally and at retail, with a distribution partner in the form of Bandai Namco.
Released last year on PC, The Talos Principle has been praised for its deep dive into a number of philosophical discussions, alongside some increasingly intricate first person puzzling through the eyes of a sentient robot.
Speaking of the PS4 release, the ever quotable (fictional) Devolver Digital CFO Fork Parker said, “I have it on good authority that those dedicated fans that purchase both the digital and retail versions of The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition will become omnipotent. That’s not a guarantee but certainly something to consider.”
There’s no word on what happens if you also own the game on PC, but The Talos Principle Deluxe Edition for PS4 version will set you back £34.99/€49.99/$49.99, which compares well with the £29.99 pricing of the base game and £10.99 for the expansion that you can see on Steam.
