The 2015 Rugby World Cup kicked off last night with England beating Fiji, and also getting that all-important bonus point which could prove crucial in the ‘group of death’. The rest of the home nations will soon begin their campaign, in what is set to be an incredibly close tournament.
Let me know which team you’ll be following (if at all), and how you think/hope they’ll do, as we start this week’s Community Round-Up!
Looking at the Meets, chances are that Monday will see the usual Project CARS meet, with the odd Rocket League or GTA V Meet thrown in elsewhere.
If you’d rather play something else, you can add your own Meet to the list, provided you have more than 250 TSA Points.
Beginning with the previews, and starting with a musical theme, Stefan looked at Rock Band 4 and how they’re going about creating the game’s hardware, while Jim took to the stage in Guitar Hero Live. Both games are released next month, and mark a return to the music genre after a long wait for fans. In the last preview, Stefan looked at Eitr, a sort of mix between Dark Souls and the original Diablo games.
To the reviews, and our first game was Lumini on an 8/10. Caél called it “short, but sweet”, taking inspiration from the likes of Pikmin, Flower and Journey, while still being different and recomendable. The other high scorer was Dropsy, a point-and-click puzzler from Aran, who also gave a 7/10 to Mad Max.
Also on a 7/10 was The Golf Club Collector’s Edition, which Dom says more than rivals EA’s offerings considering the budget differences, as Dave gave a 6/10 to Pumped BMX+. Sliding all the way down to a 2/10 is Rugby World Cup 15, which Teflon says to pretty much avoid, and he also did an in-depth review of the Logitech G29 Driving Wheel. Lastly, he also talked about Destiny The Taken King in his road to review.
This week’s Chronicle talked about Fallout 4’s DLC, Destiny: The Taken King and Tomb Raider, while the Open Forum discussed Super Mario.
Tuffcub jumped in for Lewis in Episode 194 of the Podcast, and What We Played #221 had everything the gang have been up to this week.

It was a quiet week in the Forums, with just one new thread:
- Steven talked about the BBC’s upcoming GTA Drama. Were you watching?
Well that’s it for this Round Up, I won’t be here next week but I’ll see you soon – bye!
