Yokai Watch Launch Party At Nintendo World NYC This Sunday

Just in time for the week after Halloween, Nintendo has announced they’re having a jam-packed launch event for the ghost-hunting RPG Yo-kai Watch at the Nintendo World store in New York City this Sunday.

Rather than a midnight release event like the ones for Splatoon or earlier Amiibo launched, this will be a more casual event running from 11am to 2pm for fans to just hang out and enjoy a variety of activities. Attendees can learn the wacky Yo-kai Watch dance, check out some new Yo-kai Watch toy releases, or even participate in the biggest game of telephone* in the history of Nintendo World.

The first 75 people to show up will also be able to get photos and autographs with the creator of Yo-kai Watch and Founder, President/CEO of LEVEL-5 Inc. Akihiro Hino.

Anybody who ain’t afraid of no Yokai and wants to prove it can come to the launch party Sunday, November 7th at Nintendo World, 10 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. Those of you outside of America who can’t make it, well, you know who to call.

A travel agent. Who did you think I was going to say?

  1. Is it releasing at the same time here in Europe or do we have to wait?

    • There actually isn’t a locked in release date for the UK yet, 2016 is all they’ve said.
