As we get ever closer to the year end game releases are thinning out – both at retail and digitally – with only 5 games and a handful of DLC in today’s EU PSN store update. Personally, the PS2’s PaRappa The Rapper 2 coming to PS4 for £7.99/€9.99/AU$14.95 is a good pick, and those who have Assassin’s Creed Syndicate in their stockings might want to grab the Jack The Ripper DLC at £11.99/€14.99/AU$22.95.
Other DLC includes the £24.99/€29.99/AU$44.95 Destiny Character Packs, which grant you a Level 25 Hunter, Titan or Warlock – perfect for getting a head start on new players come boxing day?

I assume the Driveclub: AMG Expansion Pack can be completed without the two cars above? If not it’s a bit cheeky giving it away.

Yeah, it’s just for people who don’t want to do the tour for whatever reason.
And I’m the biggest Destiny fanboy ever, but that £24.99 stuff is plain absurd.

Wow, that seems like ludicrous pricing for a DLC pack although I’m not familiar with the game or how expansive these packs are!

It’s not DLC. It’s 25 quid to cheat your way to level 25. If you don’t want to play the game, don’t buy it. Don’t buy it and then spend more money so you don’t have to play it.
After the ridiculous price for the real expansions, I was finally almost going to give Destiny another go and pick up the Taken King cheaply with the previous DLC as well, and there was talk of not adding more expensive DLC over the next year. But now they pull crap like that, so fuck ’em.

I assume the Driveclub DLC can be completed at some point when they bother to activate it. It’s in the store, but in game, it’s showing as locked and I have to go and buy it. Which I obviously can’t do because I already own it.
It usually shows up in the store before you can actually play it, but so far it’s always been sorted out after a few hours, not a whole day.

Sweet… KQ is downloading as I type. I do like the wakey PS4 uppy standby thingy from work.

Gorgeous game, just started playing episode 1 and enjoying it so far.

You should be in for a treat then, as I found its gets better/funnier as the episode progresses. Hopefully they keep the momentum running in the 2nd episode – I’ll find out tonight.
