Introversion Software has released the last update of 2015 for Prison Architect, which introduces women and babies to the game. The studio states that the differences between male and female inmates will be subtle, but the biggest change will be the babies and their mothers. You’ll have to care for the babies as well as the inmates, creating a place.
With this update you’ll be able to choose whether you have a male or female prison in the New Prison screen. A new unit has been introduced called the Mother Baby Unit, where mums can spend time with their child. There’s also the family cell in which a cot and integrated shower are included, as well as Nursery where mothers can live together. This is generally separate from the rest of the prison.
