Street Fighter V Video Review

Street Fighter holds a special place in many a fighting game fan’s heart, and Capcom are releasing the latest generation of the venerable series into the wild tomorrow. Street Fighter V doesn’t just bring with it a few new gameplay ideas, but also marks a shift to being more of a gaming platform than just another game. Backing up Dave’s written review, we made a video review discussing what that means for the game on day one, and over the coming months.

Please note that the online matches recorded for this video were on pre-release servers. However, they provided a generally stable experience, comparable to the beta tests in recent months.

  1. Thanks for the video chaps, had to watch on youtube as for some reason some videos when viewed on TSA website the audio goes out of sync.

    • Hmmm. That’s odd… What browser etc. etc. are you using?

      • It may be related to the ads on the site. I have to deactivate them to navigate the site properly as on some pages it drops to a crawl. Seems to be when a small video ad is playing on the right of the page.

      • I don’t have any issues usually with viewing the site or with the ads all though it could have been that,it definitely looks like it’s the android issue i mentioned seeing posts about, test youtube.com on my phone using 4G and still the sync issue occurs on 60fps vids but the app works fine,so looks like thats the problem something between google android an youtube site.

  2. Google browser on my Xperia Z4 tablet,i have tried other browsers but same result as i say some videos on the site do it others don’t,checked other sites videos aswell and they seem fine so who knows but when the sound does go out of sync there’s always youtube ;)

    • Ooops meant to press reply

      • As an example i’ve just checked the Walking Dead video from earlier on the site, works perfectly just tried this one twice audio out of sync an even a slight slow motion effect to the video.

      • Very odd indeed i’ve just checked the video on my phone an alls fine, very strange how some videos seem ok on my tablet but others don’t but it only seems to be on TSA mmm.

      • Right seems to be when i select request desktop site as i unticked it and it ran fine but obviously with a worse resolution, still find it strange how it seems to be only the odd video.

      • Could it be 60hz videos? Shouldn’t be, but it’s a possibility. Or a strenuous advert that’s sneakily sapping resources?

        I can’t test Android these days, I’m afraid…

      • I’ve found a post where google have said there are people on android reporting issues with videos being out of sync on youtube and asking what device and version of Android there using,i tested youtube the desktop site on both my tablet and phone and it runs out of sync on both but both will run 1080p 60fps all day on the app, soooo it seems thats the issue and the posts about the issue i’ve seen go back as far as april last year,if you want to tidy up delete my posts no worries thanks ;)
