Homefront: The Revolution is getting a big collector’s edition, dubbed the Goliath Edition, which kind of reminds me of what Activision do whenever Call of Duty rolls around. COD has a history of bundling in night vision goggles, RC cars and Black Ops 3 came with a mini fridge last year. Homefront’s Goliath Edition comes with a remote controlled replica ‘Goliath’ combat drone.
So you’ll be able to drive that around the living room and terrorise any pets you might have. There’s also a steelbook case, 32 page art book, the ‘Revolutionary Spirit’ pre-order bonus pack and the Expansion Pass.
That expansion pass comes with a confirmation that Dambuster are going to keep working on plenty more content after launch. They’ve already committed to making all of the co-op Resistance Mode content free, so the expansion pass will instead net you the single player expansions, as and when they come out.
Hasit Zala, Game Director at Dambuster Studios, said, “We’re planning for a dedicated team to work on additional single-player content for at least a year after release. We have some exciting ideas that we hope to develop further post launch, but the overall goal is to add some surprising new experiences to the world of Homefront that complement our 30 hour single-player campaign. All additional single-player content will be covered by the Expansion Pass.”
The game is out on May 20th for PS4, XBO and PC.
