Developer Right Nice Games has unveiled action platformer Skylar & Plux: Adventure on Clover Island for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. The game is very reminiscent of franchises such as Ratchet & Clank, Jak & Daxter, and Crash Bandicoot. That’s no coincidence since the developers are looking to create a game that follows in their footsteps.
Skylar & Plux’s tale has them facing off against an enemy known as CRT. CRT plans to transform the island they inhabit into something else. Skylar begins life as one of CRT’s projects, specifically a a powerful weapon, but she rebels and is joined by Plux to take CRT down. The game is expected to launch later this year.

Wow, reminiscent it certainly is. But if it’s imitating those greats it’ll have to get it’s platforming mechanics spot on too.
Yeah i’ll probably buy it, there just aren’t enough of these platformers anymore.
