Just in case there aren’t enough digital card games in your life at the moment, Bethesda’s The Elder Scrolls: Legends went into closed beta on PC yesterday, to coincide with the start of PAX East in Boston. If you want to give it a go, you’ll have to head over to legends.bethesda.net and sign up for the beta test.
It’s free to play, of course, and will be easy to get to grips with for anyone familiar with the current crop of these games, but does diverge from the standard set up in a few ways. For example, there’s two lanes in which you can place your cards, instead of a single front of battle, which could give you and advantage if you can overwhelm one side of your opponents forces. Your character also has runes that let you draw a card automatically when you take a certain amount of damage.
