From May 1st PlayStation Plus members that own Street Fighter V will be able to take part in a tournament, with a cash prize for the winner and runner up. The winner will get €350 while the runner up gets €150. Sign ups are open now and you’ll be able to register up until April 30th by going to this site. According to the official tournament rules bracket matches will be based on best of five, with three rounds per match. The finals will be best of seven, again with three rounds per match.
You’ll be able to choose whichever Street Fighter V character you wish, while maps will be randomly selected. When registration has ended you will receive the name of your opponent, who you must contact to set up a match. According to the rules it is also open to PC, which kind of defeats the PS Plus name.

But the game is missing half it’s content and erm…… yeah, the whole PC bit kinda makes the title of the contest a lie. Also, isn’t it a bit unfair due to different processing power and different set ups? I mean, if someone uses a monster of a machine against a PS4, wouldn’t the monstor give them an advantage?
And I do hope that they have taken into account exchange rates for the pound for any british winners otherwise, we may hear about the winner not getting that much or well, if we leave the EU, they could be stuck with cash they can’t use.

Begone, you filthy non-plusser. Go back to enjoying just your games whilst we have extra features that we paid for. Be gone, you peasent of peasents. *makes a shooing gesture* :P
It’s probably down to figures and it being easier to do it as a + only thing.
