While slaying beasts and pursuing the Wild Hunt in The Witcher III, many found themselves drawn in by Gwent – a simple yet incredibly addictive card game. Dotted around the Northern Realms are a whole host of players, ready to throw down with one of four customisable decks.
Speaking at PAX over the weekend, Polish developer CD Projekt Red confirmed that a fifth deck will be making its way to the Witcher III. It will be included as part of the Blood & Wine expansion planned for release later this year.
The new deck is based on Skellige, the snowy archipelago Geralt visits during his search for Ciri. With a diverse host of characters, we’re hoping to see a unique spread of cards when the expansion launches.
