The ever growing library of games in EA Access will be made available to a hell of a lot more people around E3 this year, with EA opening the doors to the service to all Xbox Live Gold subscribers between 12th-22nd June for free. All you need to do is download the EA Access app on your Xbox One.
Spotted by Eurogamer in the text of an EA email that went out last night, it’s a good way for EA to get people through the door and playing their games alongside whatever big announcements and reveals they have at EA Play.
It reads:
Want to share EA Access with a friend who coun’t make it to EA Play? All Xbox Live Gold members can check it out FREE from June 12-22, 2016. All they have to do is download the EA Access app on Xbox One to get started.
It’s coincided to start on the same date as EA’s show on the evening of the 12th, with a gameplay from Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 expected, with both games coming out at the end of this year. Obviously, EA are hoping these games will get you excited enough to play their predecessors – unless there’s some Access exclusive betas announced? – and then stick with the service for the long haul.

Bonkers value for money really. Got more than my moneys worth from Battlefield and Titanfall alone.
