Portal 2, Left 4 Dead Join Xbox One Backward Compatibility List

Flashback too.

Valve fans playing on Xbox One will have two reasons to get excited today as Portal 2 and Left 4 Dead join the system’s backward compatibility list. They join a growing roster of landmark games from the past console generation. Where Left 4 Dead revolutionised the co-op shooter, Portal 2 continues to stand out as the definitive first person puzzler.

Other games that have recently joined the list include Ubisoft’s Babel Rising and Flashback as well as Microsoft Studios’ Brain Challenge. Check here for the full list as it continues to grow.

  1. I might have to revisit Left 4 Dead, and I won’t complain if Portal 2 comes on GWG in the future. What I’m really looking forward to is the much rumoured Red Dead Redemption though. Apparently it’s appeared for Preview members, so I reckon it’s close.
