New Battleborn Maps Inbound, As Game Features In Humble 2K Bundle

2K really haven’t been having much luck with their first person shooters of late, and Battleborn didn’t manage to capture people’s imaginations when it launched back in May – a particularly tricky time, coming in the run up to Overwatch’s release.

Even with lower than hoped or expected sales, it’s still surprising to see the value of the game plummet so rapidly. It’s seen its price slashed at retail for console, and now it’s part of the Humble 2K Bundle 2 for Steam and PC, just over two months after release.

As always with Humble Bundles, you can pay what you want, unlocking access to various tiers the more you pay, with a top tier at a set price getting you all of the games included and the most valued parts of the bundle. That top tier is just $15/£11.41 this time around and includes Battleborn, 230 Battleborn Platinum Currency and Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel. Paying $1/76p gets you The Darkness 2, Spec Ops: The Line and Duke Nukem Forever, while beating the average – currently $8.37/£6.37 – adds Civilization V, NBA 2K16, Mafia II and a Battleborn skin pack, with more games to be added to this over the next fortnight.

Gearbox are still plugging away and supporting the game, though. A trio of new maps are coming to the PvP side of the game for free on Thursday 21st July, called Monuments, Outskirts, and Snowblind. You can read about these on the Battleborn site.
