System Shock Remake Will Be Released On PS4

Nightdive Studios recently started a Kickstarter campaign to remake System Shock, the classic title that was released in 1994 and is seen as a spiritual predecessor to the the BioShock series. The campaign has surpassed its $900,000 goal with a week still left. Originally the remake was confirmed for PC and Xbox One, but today Nightdive has announced that it will be bringing System Shock to PS4 too.

Players will once again by able to face off against the AI SHODAN and its constructs in a bid to save the human race. System Shock isn’t expected to release until at least near the end of 2017. A demo to try out the game on PC is available on Humble.
