An amnesiac hero is nothing new in videogames. I’m sure it’s the first thing that some developers write down in a game’s story, but that amnesia usually comes at a slightly more convenient time than it does in The Longest Five Minutes.
With the Overlord, the origin of all evil, towering over him, the hero’s stood there starting from scratch, trying to regain his memories before it’s too late.
It’s an interesting concept, I’m just disappointed that the teaser trailer is just 86 seconds long and, you know, not five minutes…
Developed by Nippon Ichi Software and SYUPRO-DX, The Longest Five Minutes is coming to Steam and PS Vita some time in early 2017.
