From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Brilliant stuff. I’m looking forward to this immensely.

  2. Forza Horizon 2 is my fave racer (non ciruit/Sim) ever! From what I have seen FH3 looks to be even better. If it is not more or less exactly the game that is promised though – I shall be ringing the refund bell 2 days later ;-)

  3. they finally let you drive it.
which Forza game was it that included the Warthog but only let you look at it?

looks like it’d be fun to drive.

    • Forza Motorsport 4

      • Ah the memories! Love Forza 6 for sure but the 4th was just a really polished racer! I miss Maple Valley – great track. Though I don’t miss the cheesey “Nice choice” when picking your first car, no matter which you picked.

      • I’ve only played FM1, 5 and 6. But Maple Valley was in the first one, so I miss it too! That, and the Japanese mountain hillclimb!

  4. Finally the recommended specs are out! They’re about in line with Gears 4 which is unsurprising, except with 4GB of RAM less.

It’s kinda odd seeing how this version recommends a system notably more powerful than the Neo, when the Xbox One is… Well, less equipped. Hopefully that means the PC version will be outstanding as well.

Forza Horizon 2 is one of my favorite racing games ever, so I can’t wait to take my golden warthog out for a spin!

    • “take my golden warthog out for a spin”, that kind of talk is going to get you arrested!
Also – get on Gears, I am up now as you can tell. Perhaps some Forza 2 aswell?

      • I’m referring to the Golden Warthog of Halo 2 fame, of course! My penis more closely resembles a puma.

Also, I was wrong. Gears 4 recommends an i5, the i7 was for “ideal spec” (4K, possibly).

      • I’m on gears, and have been for some time. Is this where I must grab your attention? :-P

  5. Hope they keep the controls the same for the Warthog too! Twin stick driving and holding down the left trigger to get that ass swinging out like a drunk J Lo on skates!
There should also be a set of rims you can buy that include a sticky ‘nade stuck to one, custom bumber with pink needles sticking out, and a helpless Marine AI in the passenger seat who can’t hit sh*t with the assualt rifle.

    • That would be amazing, but I don’t see it happening… :-(
