Bloody hell, Earth needs quite a lot of defending in the EDF games, and Earth Defense Force 5 was just announced at Sony’s Tokyo Game Show conference. There’s everything from giant ants to giant spiders and giant spaceships which drop off more giant alien attackers onto the surface of our little green and blue ball. Basically, if it’s alien and giant, it’s heading our way and it’s up to you to stop it, probably while chanting “EDF! EDF!”
The game’s coming out for PlayStation 4 some time in 2017.
