[Update] Super Mario Run Heads Onto iOS On 15th December

Having been announced back at the iPhone 7 reveal in September, Nintendo have now confirmed that Super Mario Run is coming out for iPhone and iPad on 15th December in the United States and Europe, and with a price of $9.99, €9.99 or £7.99.

You can actually play some of the game for free, downloading it from the App Store and trying parts of the game’s three modes without charge, but to play the whole thing there’s a one time charge.

The press release out of Nintendo continues:

Super Mario Run is compatible with iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices running iOS 8.0 or later. Starting on Dec. 15, the game will launch in 151 countries and regions. Super Mario Run supports English, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Russian and traditional Chinese language options.

  1. £8 for a runner seems bit steep even if it does have Nintendo’s level of spit and polish. Glad to hear you can try before you buy at thar price. Will wait for reviews and try it before I commit.
