Big Ben had chimed and thousands of fireworks have lit the skies as we greet 2017. Happy New Year, everyone!
January 1st is often seen as an opportunity to wipe the slate clean, to try new things, to resolve to be better and look forward to the year ahead with a sense of optimism, but truth be told, there’s a lot to be apprehensive about this coming twelve months. The events of 2016 have left us with plenty of worries and more than a little bit of uncertainty and 2017 might be a year that we have to knuckle down and make the best of, so let’s try and take it by the scruff of its neck and make it a good one.
Video games needn’t be one of those worries. Featuring just a selection of the games already confirmed for next year, our Ones to Watch feature shows that there’s tons of games both big and small to look forward to. The first few months alone are jam packed with big game releases, not to mention things like the first Nintendo Switch hands on in January and its release in March. We hope you’ll join us for the ride.
But for now, soak up the celebrations and I’ll say it again: Happy New Year!

Well, it’s 2.44am here with sickness and the associated trimmings so that’s nice. At least it wasn’t yesterday as that was my birthday and all in all was a wonderful day. Nevertheless, I bid everyone the 2017 they want and/or deserve and hopefully it’s started better than mine!

Appreciated. Wasn’t even drink related! No, my kids have been sick (aren’t they always around Christmas?) so by association I inevitably suffer too. No worries.
Should be all kosher by Tuesday when I hit work again. That means I can do nothing but game until then! :D
