To the mellow tones of This Shadow by Marc Scibilia – a wonderfully appropriate choice, I must say – the latest Styx: Shard of Darkness trailer takes a cinematic look at the many ways in which Styx can use his abilities and manipulate the world to deadly effect.
The sneaky little goblin’s abilities have been boosted since the first game, so he now has the ability to throw clones of himself using the precious resource of Amber, in addition to using amber vision or turning himself invisible for a short time. Alongside this, there’s a new crafting system, allowing him to create things like acid traps that instantly dissolve enemy guards. Of course, it wouldn’t be a stealth game without being able to drop a chandelier on someone’s head…
Styx: Shards of Darkness is out in March for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
