Respawn has lifted the lid on the next free content drop for Titanfall 2’s multiplayer, and it goes by the name Live Fire. Live Fire is a new 6v6 pilots only mode where there are no respawns and a minute to eliminate the opposing team. Matches are in the best of five format, and rounds can be won through total elimination or holding the neutral flag. Two new maps have been designed specifically for Live Fire, with these being Stacks and Meadow.
On top of the Live Fire content a new Coliseum map is being added and that’s called Columns, along with a new pilot execution animation, and new Commander intros. Furthermore players will be able to customise exactly which modes they’re matched into with a mixtape option. You select the game modes you’re interested in and you’ll be put in a match that meets those requirements.
A release date for the Live Fire update is to be confirmed.
