During Microsoft’s conference at E3 2016 the company announced the Play Anywhere program, where if you bought a game digitally on Xbox One or Windows 10 it would be playable on both systems. Gears Of War 4 was one of the first major games to get a Play Anywhere label, and now Phil Spencer has confirmed a big third party title that will be part of the program, that being Resident Evil 7.

Resident Evil 7 is the first third party game confirmed for the Play Anywhere program, and that opens the doors for a lot of other publishers now.
