After the recent story trailer, release date and beta announcement, Injustice 2 is certainly picking up a fair bit of momentum to its marketing campaign. Yesterday saw NetherRealm holding a live stream in which, amongst other things, the Robin was shown off in all his hood wearing, sword wielding glory.
Robin is just one character in a roster that will be the largest of any NetherRealm game, Ed Boon said during the livestream, and the company are set to feature some more obscure characters from the DC universe alongside the mainstream regulars.
One final piece of good news is that this is not a game that will take from the poor and give to the rich, by which I mean, it won’t let you buy stat altering gear for money.
Injustice 2 is out for PS4 and Xbox One on 16th May, with a free to play version of the game also coming to iOS and Android.
