EU Store Update 31/01/17: Double Dragon IV, Dexed, Dynasty Warriors Godseekers

This week’s store update is a bit quieter than last week’s one which saw a number of high profile releases. In fact the most high profile additions are the Sabotage DLC for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Resident Evil 7’s first DLC. You also have games like Double Dragon IV and Dynasty Warriors: Godseekers coming this week. If you have a PSVR headset then you may want to check out Dexed.

On Vita one of the main releases this week is Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Can’t say no to a free bubble-popping game and i’m looking also forward to trying the Bound demo.

    • By “free”, they obviously mean “we’ve expertly crafted lots of levels that aren’t pay to win, but have just the right amount of difficulty so that your limited supply of bubbles will run out when you’re really close to finishing about 90% of the time and tempt you to buy more for real money”

As far as I can tell, you don’t need to pay anything. But be prepared to get screwed by the random colours it gives you and swear when you’ve run out of bubbles with just 1 thing to hit to win a level. And then don’t pay £1.75 for an extra 5 bubbles. (It may be as low as 75p or so, if you want to spend £40 on a free game, in which case, you’re an idiot)

Not saying it’s a bad game, just the “give us your money!” thing is very obvious. Tutorial levels that introduce all the things you can do that cost money you can’t seem to earn in-game.

  2. It’s amazing isn’t it? Double Dragon was da bomb (so to speak) back in the day but that video on the store page looks absolute garbage!
