Warner Bros Interactive has confirmed that next expansion packs that will be available for LEGO Dimensions with The Goonies, Harry Potter, and LEGO City all being options to purchase from May 12th. Each pack comes with a Toy Tag that unlocks an Adventure world for its associated franchise, as well as a Battle Arena where up to four players can face off in modes like Capture the Flag, Objective, Base Bash, and Tick, Tag, Boom.
The Goonies pack will allow players to help the characters Sloth and Chunk while the vehicle of choice is One Eyed Willy’s Pirate Ship, which can be transformed into Fanged Fortune and the Inferno Cannon. There’s also the Skeleton Organ which has Sonar Smash abilities and can turn into the Skeleton Jukebox and Skele-Turkey. The Harry Potter pack contains a Hermione Granger mini figure who has the ability to cast various spells. The locations that can be visited in the adventure world include parts of Hogwarts, Hogsmeade, and Diagon Alley. The vehicle here is actually Buckbeak who can also be transformed into a Giant Owl or Fierce Falcon.
The LEGO City pack will contain a Chase McCain minifigure. He has disguises such as a miner or fireman as well as a detective scanner to pick up any crimes going on in his vicinity. The vehicles of choice here are Police Helicopter, Police Hovercraft and Police Plane.
