The Earth Defense Force will be mobilising again this year as the series returns for Earth Defense Force 5, which will once again see giant bugs invading. This time they have the help of bipedal frogs with guns too meaning the EDF will have a bit of a tougher fight on its hands. D3 has released a new gameplay trailer which shows the enemies in action as well as the Ranger, Wing Diver, and Fencer classes that players can pick from in an attempt to push back the invaders.
A release date for Earth Defense Force 5 is yet to be confirmed.
