First Screens Of Telltale’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Game Released

Telltale Games has released the first four screenshots of the upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy game, which will be releasing this Spring. Along with those the studio has also confirmed the cast list as well as some details about the general plot. The story itself is an original one and not tied to any other plotlines, so if you haven’t seen the movie or read the comics then there’s no need to worry about spoilers.

In Telltale’s Guardians Of The Galaxy game the crew awake after a battle where they discover a powerful artifact. Each member of the crew could use the relic for themselves but they’re being hunted by another who wants the artifact for herself. The game locations will include Earth, Knowhere, and the Milano ship.

The cast of the game is as follows:

  • Scott Porter (Friday Night Lights, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series) as Star-Lord
  • Emily O’Brien (The Young and the Restless, Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor) as Gamora,
  • Nolan North (the Uncharted series, Pretty Little Liars) as Rocket
  • Brandon Paul Eells (Watch Dogs) as Drax
  • Adam Harrington (The Wolf Among Us, League of Legends) as Groot.

Platforms are yet to be confirmed but the game will receive a season pass disc release like other Telltale games have done in the past.

From the heady days of the Mega Drive up until the modern day gaming has been my main hobby. I'll give almost any game a go.

  1. Is it sad that Nolan North as Rocket is a selling point to me?…

  2. Am I the only who thinks telltales games have jumped the shark? They need to really overhaul the engine and the actual gameplay. Last few games of theirs I found so boring.
